On the afternoon of August 6, Li Guojun, Secretary of the Shaodong Municipal Party Committee, led a delegation to Heitianpu Town to conduct a field inspection of its economic and social development. He emphasized the need to leverage local resource endowments, strengthen and expand village-level collective economies, and provide dedicated, attentive support to business development, thereby driving high-quality economic and social progress through concrete actions and tangible results. Xie Huiwei, Member of the Municipal Party Standing Committee and Director of the Municipal Party Committee Office, also took part in the inspection.

In Yujing Village, Heitianpu Town, Li Guojun conducted an on-site inspection of the village’s collective economic development, gaining a detailed understanding of the planning for the Chinese medicinal herb cultivation project, land‑transfer arrangements, and progress in building supporting infrastructure. In recent years, Yujing Village has seen a substantial increase in its collective income through initiatives such as developing specialized livestock farming, revitalizing idle assets, and establishing a supply-and-marketing cooperative. The village is now actively formulating plans for a Chinese medicinal herb cultivation project to further boost residents’ incomes. Li Guojun commended the village for proactively exploring new pathways for collective economic development, urging it to further leverage resource factors, accelerate the final stages of remaining land‑transfer procedures and the construction of related industrial facilities, and ensure the early implementation and tangible results of the project.

At Hunan Qiaodaniu Food Co., Ltd., Li Guojun visited the construction site of the company’s Phase II project, gaining a detailed understanding of its production and sales operations, as well as the challenges and issues encountered in advancing the construction of the new facilities. Qiaodaniu Food is a modern, locally‑based enterprise deeply rooted in Shaodong; its Phase I project has been stably in operation, with tax contributions exceeding RMB 6 million in 2025. Li Guojun urged the relevant departments and Heitianpu Town to align their efforts with the company’s development needs, proactively provide front‑line support, strengthen overall coordination, and do everything possible to help the enterprise resolve bottlenecks and difficulties in its project implementation. He emphasized the importance of continuously improving the business environment, precisely implementing policies that benefit enterprises, bolstering confidence in corporate growth, and fostering more companies to become model taxpayers exceeding RMB 10 million in annual tax contributions, thereby leveraging high‑quality enterprise development to drive Shaodong’s own high‑quality, intrinsic growth.
